Jam

 We have an apple tree and some blackberries bushes growing in the garden, so now we have some apples and blackberries. It seemed such a shame to let them go to waste, so I decided to try something I have never tried before - apple and blackberry jam. OK, I think I may have made jam before, but that was in school and over 30 years ago (that doesn’t count, does it?). I seem to remember that it took a long time to make the jam, but in reality, it doesn’t take much time at all. The most time-consuming part was prepping the apples.

I had a little accident! I don’t know whether the jar or the jam was too hot, but the jar cracked 🤪

And here’s the result. I only got 5 pots of jam, but it’s really delicious. I’ll be making more!
